Happy Birthday, Jodie

My cousin, Jodie.

She is my cousin.

She is my best friend.

I was going to write a poem for her.

But she's an English teacher.

Too much pressure.

She has talked me off the ledge.

She has made me laugh until tears roll down my face. 

She is honesty and integrity.
She is my voice of reason.

 

And I love how much my boys love her.

Almost as much I do.
